This C923 bronze pump housing is a '2-stage centrifugal pump' (900 x 700 x 700 and 560 KG) from a ship
Wear has been observed in this pump housing, which was caused by friction with an internal impeller.
The worn spot had to be welded up so that it can be machined back to the correct dimensions.
After an XRF it turns out to be C923 bronze and after making the correct procedure we welded up the worn spot again.
This bronze C923 pump housing was transferred to another company after welding for finishing.
The welding left no traces and the customer was very pleased with the end result.
