Bronze has many different alloys, including aluminum bronze (B148 C95800).
This customer asked us if it was possible to weld a bronze pump housing, after consultation we discovered that it was B148 C95800.
This alloy has many of the properties of aluminum, but it is certainly not aluminum. Alloys such as these can be very unpredictable in weld ability.
The welding of this aluminum bronze pump housing was completed well, the customer was able to make a new connection in the welded material without any problems.
